DESCRIPTION
QUINDARO is a perfect example of a Maine-built cruising yacht that is just as nice to be aboard as she is to sail. On deck she is easy to operate with furling main and headsail, lines led to the cockpit, and winches within easy reach of the helm. The cockpit is deep and protected, side decks wide, tracks wrapped with teak and stanchions high.
Below decks, she is nothing short of a work of art. The high-gloss joinery detail, mahogany finish, ash battens, inlays and half hulls are exquisite, and were described by Tom Morris as one of Morris Yachts’ best.
Always kept indoors during winters, QUINDARO is near immaculate. Paintwork, varnish and maintenance are well above average. Her current owner purchased the boat in 2003 and would use her 2 months a summer. When he was finished, she would go back inside.
